Junior Power System Analyst
Ellevio is one of Sweden's largest energy companies and thus an important enabler of the climate transition. By 2045, electricity consumption in Sweden is expected to more than double. This means that investments in our electricity grid are among the most important things we do. We are undertaking extensive investment projects to modernize, digitalize, weatherproof, and expand the electricity grids, as well as create conditions for connecting new fossil-free production. We believe in a bright and sustainable future, do you?
About the role of Junior Power System Analyst
As a Power System Analyst, you play an important role in ensuring long-term good grid solutions primarily in our local grid and partially in our regional grid. You are responsible for grid investigations where you develop various alternatives to ensure functioning grid solutions in different operational situations. You will perform load and fault current calculations, work with power quality issues, and prepare documentation for grid models. Data analysis is becoming increasingly important, and investigations are conducted both in grid calculation software and programming scripts. The role also involves close collaboration with several internal departments as well as externally with customers and contractors.
We appreciate your engagement in sharing thoughts and ideas, where your technical competence is a contributing factor. Feedback and openness are a significant part of Ellevio's corporate culture, creating better conditions for development. With us, you will work with an engaged and positive team that is driven by challenges, exciting projects, and where we continuously work on business development to improve our way of working. As a Power System Analyst, you will have, in addition to interesting work areas and great opportunities for personal development, an important role in our work for the electrified and sustainable society of the future.
About you
To fit and thrive in the role of Power System Analyst, you have a structured and meticulous approach to your work. You are solution-oriented and have an aptitude for analytical thinking, solving questions and problems in a long-term manner, and have a good ability to see logic and connections. Furthermore, you need to have good collaboration skills as the role involves cooperation both internally with colleagues in different teams and departments, as well as externally with customers and contractors.
We see that you have a master's degree in electrical engineering or another higher education with a focus on electrical power. During your studies, you have gained knowledge in calculation software for masked regional grids or local grid calculations. Knowledge of programming and data analysis is an advantage. You need to be fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form.
Ellevio as an employer
It is important to us that employees feel comfortable, engaged, and driven by the desire to continuously learn and develop. Only then can we together achieve our vision of a bright and sustainable future. With us, you have great opportunities to influence the company as a whole and your own career. A fine testament to this is that we have been named a Career Company for the fifth consecutive year!
We are constantly working towards a sustainable and developing work climate where equality, diversity, and inclusion are a given. For example, there is the ELLE network, Ellevio's internal women's network, and we train all employees in collective intelligence to create conditions for increased collaboration and well-being.
